ABOUT LONDON

London is the largest city in southwestern Ontario and Canada’s tenth largest city. London is located at the junction of the Thames River, about 200 kilometres (120 miles) from both Toronto and Detroit, and about 230 kilometres (140 miles) from Buffalo, New York. The University of Western Ontario, Fanshawe College, and multiple hospitals make London a regional hub for health care and education. The city has a lot of musical and artistic exhibits and festivals, which help to boost tourism, but education, medical research, insurance, and information technology are the city’s main economic drivers. The city has its own bus system, known as London Transit. Via Rail, Greyhound Bus Lines, and London International Airport are also available.
